Stripping off Shows from Internet Entrepreneurs

Stripping off Shows from Internet Entrepreneurs. How to prove they are more than just 'geeks'. With their modesty covered by only a cable, 24 London internet entrepreneurs have bared all for a charity calendar. Available to pre-order from today, the £10 Nude London Tech calendar has 24 pictures of the capital's internet pioneers what they describe as artistic' poses.

Hermione Way, a 24 year old who runs techfluff.tv, an online video news site, appears in the calendar with her modesty covered using just a microphone and cable.

She said: 'I have no regrets - the pictures are great! It was loads of fun for a good cause and I hope we raise lots of money.'

All proceeds from the calendar, which can be ordered online from firebox.com, will go to Take Heart, a youth charity which sets up IT projects in India. Miss Way also hoped the calendar would improve the image of people involved in technology startups.

'I really think that geeks are the rock stars of today, and hopefully this calendar can help celebrate the geekiness of people. What could you want more for Christmas than a load of naked geeks on your wall?'

Other pictures include David Langer of collaboration site Groupspaces on a Soho rooftop, and Alicia Navarro of online affiliate marketing firm Skimlinks. The calender is the brainchild of Milo Yiannopoulos, who is currently studying English at Cambridge.

He previously organised a Michael Jackson moonwalk flashmob in the days following Jackson's death. He said: 'Someone suggested the idea as a joke, and I just thought why not. There is a perception that the people who run these internet startups are unattractive geeks, and I wanted to show that's not the case. We are hoping to sell over 5,000, and are also working on an iPhone app.'

Participants in the calendar were chosen by a committee of online experts, and also a public vote. ( Kompas.com )
